Overview

Kids FAST is an afterschool, multifamily support group to increase parent involvement in schools and improve children’s well-being. A collaborative, culturally representative, team of parents and professionals facilitates the multifamily group to engage parents into building social networks through the schools. There is no formal curriculum or instruction at FAST. Instead, the team leads a structured package of interactive processes at the group sessions to enhance relationships.
