Food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life1. Please note that in the CCHS 2.2 this is a household measure, and thus the percentage of households in each food security status category is provided.
